I've been so crazily busy I haven't been online for a little while. Yesterday I left - along with my sister, a few brothers, and dad - at 8am to load stuff up from my grandfather's house. We got back at 2pm, made another trip, got home at 6pm, left at 6:30pm to set our sound system up at a church (we're doing a concert there tonight) and got back at 9:30pm. Got up this morning at 6:30, left at 8:50am for a craft fair (which went well!), left there at 2pm, and I'm here now writing this and eating lunch (3pm).
Whew, so, all of our days are turning out like these, it seems there's no end to all the packing/loading/unloading/lifting/working, etc,. etc.
District Auditions are coming up in two weeks!!!!!! I had been doing really horrible with the piece, untill I talked to a fellow trumpet player who advised me to get offline and practice. So, I took his advice, and my playing is going much better than I had anticipated. I'll be sure to post here the results of the audition. Last year I tried out, and missed by one point (passing score was 134). Hopefully this year I'll be better prepared :)
We have a concert coming up tonight (as I mentioned above) and on Monday it will be back to working at the house. I hope everything works out well on the closing day.
