Hello y'all! As you know I haven't been around for a while. I wrote the following up for our family's website and thought you might all like to read it. I'll be blogging regularly after this, providing I can find time between concerts. It's great to be back, can't wait to catch up with you all online!

Concert Tour in West Virginia
We left early Wednesday morning to get to our grandparent's home in Virginia in time to cook for Thanksgiving. What a time we had! It was wonderful to be with our relatives. It's a 10 hour drive to Virginia from Massachusetts. We didn't have everything we had hoped to have installed on the bus, but it went well nonetheless.
What a sight New Jersey is at night, where we drove through it looked like a field of orange lights! We saw the big glass buildings in the cities, went over the George Washington Bridge, and drove under the ocean through tunnels.
We left our grandparents house Saturday at midnight, headed for New Testament Fellowship in Grafton, West Virginia. We arrived early and had plenty of time to set up and get ready. The service went really well, and everyone was greatly blessed. After the service they took us out to eat, and then the Mayor (who happens to be the associate pastor there) took us on a tour of the city and of the fire station! We were amazed, and really had a great time.
The terrain in WV is quite different than what we're used to. The entire city of Grafton is on hills, and the roads are very curvy. We next took off for Fairmont, WV. The roads going north through WV were full of cliffs, hills, mountains, and sharp turns. The view was really good. We were imagining what traveling those roads would be like in the winter! Particularly large hills or sharp turns would elicit gasps from the front seats from time to time, as we discussed how airbrakes work, and how they have an automatic lock in case
of the loss of air. Uh huh.
We arrived safely, although we did take a few wrong turns due to the internet directions. We received a warm welcome at Christian Assembly of Fairmont, and discovered the pastor's family is homeschooled. The service was great We had a lot of help afterwards with the sound system, which was especially appreciated due to what happens to energy levels after sleep deprivaton We had a nice time chatting with the people there, they were all great :)
When we tried to start the bus we discovered the diesel had leaked out of the fuel line. After a quick adjustment by Victor and Vincent, our family mechanics, it started. PRAISE GOD!!!!! We set off that night for our 10 hour trip home. The trip was uneventful, we arrived Monday afternoon at our destination - home!
It was so nice to be home once again, but we eagerly await our next concerts, and then our trip to Florida later this winter, Lord willing.
