It looks like the state of Massachusetts is in for some snow. Up to 1 foot is due in our area. Whew, with all the shoveling I'll be doing I'm not sure if I'll be online (:>P)
Whoops, on the radio just now they've updated their forecast, 4-18 inches! The weather forecaster also noted we could be in for more than that, depending on how it goes. I guess winter has moved in.
The good part is that we have alot of hills around here to sled/snowboard on, within walking distance. We're planning to build a track for tubing on. The problem is I can't remember where in the world any of our tubes are. hmm..
Last year I remember hearing on TV that our area got down to 26 below. This year it looks like it could very well go down again. It's been single digits at night already, it stays in the 20s during the day. Last year we had quite a bit of snow, and my brothers built a mountain out of snow in the middle of our hill, dug out the middle, put christmas lights in it, and made the tubing track go right through the middle. It was a lot of fun!
The only problem with snow is that it is hard to drive around in the middle of a storm, and it's often very dangerous if it gets a little warm and then freezes again, the roads can get coated with ice.
It's hard to believe the temperature here goes from subzero to 100.
