I'm sure some of you will be bored of all this talk of cold weather. If you live in a cold place that is. We've just entered into a deep freeze that is supposed to last at least a week. It was -6 this morning, expected to go down to -15 tonight.
The only way to survive outside is to do something strenuous. I carried 15-20 armloads of firewood up from our backyard and I was well warmed by the time I was done, despite the -2 temperature. I can't imagine being out there just sitting around.
The sky is absolutely gorgeous! Bright blue sets off the snow marvelously. I only wish it were a bit warmer so I could enjoy it more :)
I'm just getting the hang of using a computer keyboard. I can type well enough, but I just discovered that on our keyboard F4 highlights the browser's address bar. Very interesting.
My favorite talkshow host (GLENN BECK!) has switched over entirely to using apple computers. He attributes it to the jerk IMB technician and the amiable Apple technician at Verizon. Seems while on the phone with their customer support he was really ticked off by the IBM guy. He wonders if he will now have to fully adapt the 'Apple Attitude' and vote for Dean. hahah. No offence to apple owners.
Here's a story complete with pictures of 'Fuzzy Wuzzy' with no hair! http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2004011515,00.html
