Yesterday we nearly got to run our new bus generator for the 4 hours of 'break in' time, but the temperature dropped below 10 degrees by the time we had it all wired up (which means it's just too cold to run it!). I just keep imagining it's actually warm outside, and everything is green.....

I've actually got a ton of things to blog about, but to blog about it all would take too long. A blog is supposed to reflect what goes on in real life, not become a life itself.

I recently read a book called Mother. It's a book a friend (my boss) lent me, it was interesting. It was written in 1911 by Kathleen Norris. It follows the story of a young school teacher who leaves home, and starts to think that her life will 'end' if she has a family. She becomes ashamed of her family, and only at the very end does she realize how important motherhood is, to all women, including herself.
A few months ago I read a book called Every Woman's Battle. That book really changed the way I thought about some things. The first book is called Every Man's Battle (geared towards men), then someone thought to write about the female's view of the battle of lust. When I started the book, I thought, I really don't need to read this, I don't have these kinds of problems. However, as I read, I realized how big a problem lust can be, without even noticing it. It shows what lust really is, even in it's less perceivable forms. It also shows how God feels about it, and how you can ask God to help you change. There is a lot of scripture in this book and I think it's right on!
