I missed the 5000th visitor!!! Happy 5000th, blog.
Blog author: "Statcounter, does it feel different to be 5000??"
SC: "Um, who are you kidding?? Certainly you don't think your readers are this dumb."
Back at the studio once again. I have just finished recording the one vocal solo I have on the CD. It was rather nerve wracking, especially at the beginning. My sister was a big help, as well as the studio engineer. I just don't have that great of a voice! I told him to add plenty of reverb to smooth it out. lol.
Today marks the 6th day of my re-started running routine. I've gotten in about 3 1/2 miles between the three days I've run. The worst part is the moment before you get out of bed at 6am to get ready. You start thinking, I shouldn't really be running, it's bad on my joints. And you know you're going to start getting tired during the day if you keep getting up early. And you just heard about what happened to that jogger who was out before dawn. Yeah, I think I'll stay in bed. Wait, remember what those jeans looked like on you? Yep. I'm out of bed, ready to go.
My goal is to get back to the 6-7 miles I was doing weekly. Not much, but it counts for something I suppose.
