NEWS FLASH!

The game of Cups has been explained in detail by Mr. Fiala, left in comment form on the first post under February's Archives. The game was taught to us by the Hallfords down in Houston and we had a great time playing it with Mr. Fiala and many other people along the way on our last tour :D

The game of Cups:.......... Clap (1), Clap (2), right hand slap the table (3), left hand slap the table (4), right hand slap the table (5), clap (6), move your cup (from your left to your right on the first round and then on every successive round from the person on you left to right in front of you) (done sharply so as to make a clapping noise) (7). (the first half of the sequence) Second sequence of Cups: ....... Clap (1), Pick you cup up with you right hand - thumb facing down (2), with your right hand turn cup over and cup it (bottle-cap it) with your left hand (done sharply so as to make a clapping noise) (3), with your right hand now tap the table with the bottom of the cup still in your right hand (done sharply so as to make a clapping noise) (4), lift your right hand so that the bottom of the cup now ends up in the palm of your left hand (done sharply so as to make a clapping noise) (5), now hold the cup with your left hand and let go of the cup with your right hand and slap your right hand on the table in front of your left elbow (done sharply so as to make a clapping noise) (6), now place the cup with your left hand cupped over the bottom of the cup on the table to your right with the top facing down within ready reach of the person next to you so that they can pick it up on the next round (done sharply so as to make a clapping noise) (7)!!!!!!!! Now it all starts over. Eureka!!!!!!CUPPS!!! Although you can practice this by yourself it is bext played with three or more players. P.S. If you use metal cans, please find a metal table top.

My brother thinks we should add at some point a sound clip of the rythym or even a video clip. If you know us or happen to meet up with us on the road, we'll be happy (if circumstance allows) to do a demonstration :D
