I have a stinking cold! Well more accurately, it doesn't stink - I can't smell at all! Not that I wouldn't smell if I didn't ever shower. But I can't SMELL! You know what I mean ;)
I got up at 5:00am and the day has been surprisingly short. While I was at work a breeze blew in the window and all of the sudden my throat felt really itchy and my eyes watered and almost had tears coming down. It went away as fast as it came, but I wonder if I have any allergies. It would be so horrible to have that itchy throat/watery eyes thing all of the time. I can't imagine.

I started three batches of bread dough today; I started a poolish from the recipe for whole wheat bread in The Bread Baker's Apprentice, one is a whole wheat chocolate walnut loaf I came up with on my own (inspired by bread we have occasionally been given) and the other is another chocolate loaf but it's an all white flour dough. The whole wheat has to ferment till tomorrow so I won't make that tonight, but hopefully the chocolate loaves will be done tonight.
The bagels I mentioned last time turned out really good, by the way. The recipe in The Bread Baker's Apprentice is really good! Nathan, my brother, even said to make a triple batch next time.

So I'm getting over my cold and going to work and reading, and making bread. And lifting weights occasionally ;)
